Cwm Penmachno: You may have noticed that the mobile phone signal has temporarily disappeared. The mast has been switched off while engineers make preparations to enable support for the O2 and VodafoneThree networks.![]()
The normal signal will be back by Sunday (EE only), and the new networks will be switched on in the months ahead.

EE, with the support of Bro Machno Community Council, has discreetly built a new mobile mast at the edge of a forest on the slopes of the Machno Valley, providing fast and reliable 4G connectivity to the village, as well as critical signal for the emergency services as part of the Home Office鈥檚 Emergency Services Network.
